The Jay Leno Show: Jay makes Kanye West cry

Categories: video

Maybe it was just the clip or the editing of it and it was more compelling in its original context. But the clip says "Watch Kanye's Emotional Apology" and then the apology isn't actually in the video.  I don't want to hear you whining about wanting your 72 seconds back (only 42 if you're not subjected to a 30 second commercial first).

He isn’t truly sorry. He regrets the backlash he is getting. How can a grown man behave the way he did and end up making sweet, young girl cry backstage on a night that should have been wonderful for her? He is a jerk and a bully, if you didn’t already know from his songs and his prior juvenile behavior.

  2. Kanye’s 3rd apology on Jay Leno…. Was that really an apology??? Kanye did seem a bit remorseful. Read the text of interview here:

Yeah this is not the first time. But his VMAs stick was something new because he was sour graping for something he was not nominated in the first place. I guess he was trying to make a statement but the video he was rooting for anyway won the big award, Video of the Year. And well the awards were voted by fans anyway what should he expect?

But well really juicy material for the premiere episode for Jay Leno. What a coincidence. (I don’t buy any theory that NBC ‘asked’ Kanye to do that no matter how NBC seems desperate).

Ive never really liked Kanye’s music and the way he has acted in the past but this is just ridiculous. Taylor is a great girl and she deserved her moment. Shes been on the top of the charts on nearly every genre and since shes ever became famous, she has busted her ass with her music and making people smile with her music. So who knows, maybe this out lash of Kanye’s was jealousy, could be hard to believe but you never know with rappers these days. Taylor will always remain better than Kanye West, simple as that.

I doubt he cried nearly as hard as I did when I noticed yet another Leno headline/story on this site. ;)

I don’t believe kanye is sincere like Jamie Foxx was to miley. Or how Lindsey was to hilary he has got this tone about him he made taylor feel terrible

  7. man kanye did the right thing which freedom of speech and standing up to what he believes in and bein a man about!i think he shouldnt have apologized because its not nessesary forget taylor swift if it wuznt for kanye west she wouldnt even be talked about today! he is an icon and a genuis no need for apologize its wuz slightly ignorant but confident @ the same time! only god can judge his matter! its not like he beat his girlfriend! he simply said what he needed and thats it! Kanye & Taylor are old news on to the next:

From one vantage point, it was a case of chivalry gone horribly wrong. West meant to stand up for Beyonce Knowles, whose “Single Ladies” video is in fact much more memorable than the one for Swift’s “You Belong With Me,” which took the prize in question.

  10. Kozy

Do West and Swift have the same agent or publicist? This smells like viral schtick.

  11. Kevin

The only thing that will shut Kanye West up is if he gets cancer.
    Let us pray.

I wonder if Kayne was white and Taylor was black if we’d have the same reaction. I wonder if Kanye was white and said that Pres. Obama didn’t care about white people, how he would be treated by the media.

  13. Captain Trips

Kanye West isnt sorry – he is only saying that to keep the money coming in. Same deal with Michael Vick.

  14. Jim

What does race have to do with anything?

  15. “I wonder if Kayne was white and Taylor was black if wed have the same reaction.”

What I wonder is this: If Kanye was a robot and Taylor was a homicide detective with a past, would they fight crime?

  16. Chuck

No softball here from Leno… the question of what West’s mom, who recently passed away, would have said, hit hard; it was obvious if you knew his mom recently passed away. Leno handled this one with class.

  17. Anna

Kanya West is a juvenile. He is not the standard and had no reason to be a part of that stage. beyonce can take care of herself and he did not need ot help. Ask him to kepe his unsolicited advise in his pocket or shove it down his throat.
I hope the public stop listening to his music.
