Any one know the numbers for Saturday’s FNC/Beck DC march coverage?
AW, we have all the viewership numbers from last week’s cable shows. When was that show aired (Eastern time)?
He covered the DC 9-12 march (Saturday) live from 1-3 pm ET on FoxNews
2 “Glen Beck Specials” on Saturday afternoon
1-2pm 2.387m avg. viewers
2-3pm 2.572m
Thank you very much, Mr. Gorman. It’s higher than I expected, because it’s on Sat. and not prime time. I thought a lot of Beck’s followers were attending the March. I’ll assume this numbers are 3-4X higher than other competitive networks.
Let alone going against all the college football games.
Not to mention, most of the people marching weren’t viewing that day.
Anchor Charlie Gibson didn’t know anything about the ACORN story. Well that makes sense if you watch the old tired leftist news you wouldn’t know anything about ACORN. 29% of people trust the old news media. I wonder why that number is so high? Looks like the leftist in the news media are in on a coverup. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same Ask Charlie. Well he wouldn’t know.
Bill Gorman says:
2 “Glen Beck Specials” on Saturday afternoon
1-2pm 2.387m avg. viewers
2-3pm 2.572m
Add to that the estimated (by independent tally) the 1.7m people who were there in DC.
All I can say is HOLY SH*T!!
I’m sure the nut jobs who still intoxicate themselves with Kool-Aid daily are trying to come up with some line to make it all look bad. They’re actually running out of ideas, they keep making the same accusations/claims over and over again. They haven’t got a leg to stand on.
As for the [former] MSM, all I can say is the people who work for those organisations need to start looking forward to lower paychecks and/or pink slips. By this time next year, their numbers will be half of what they are now and they’ll be scraping table scraps from the trash to survive. Turning a blind eye to such a large “movement” (this includes the fools in the WH and Capital) will only hurt them in the end. If there’s one thing about the US is that we’re VERY vengeful when attacked or ignored.
For all of you “kids” who blindly support MSNBC (and the likes) are oblivious the real world and what’s going on around you and like in all the other threads here, will obviously come on here and bash the rest of us who reside in reality. Truth is that you nutjobs can see the “ride” coming to an end in the forseeable future and you’re throwing a temper tantrum every chance you get like a little baby in a crib screaming for his or her pacifier.
Maybe we can find a nice little island somewhere out in the middle of nowhere for all of you to be sent to so you all can play with each other and not be a nuisance to the rest of us anymore.
Mr. Gorman, I saw a report that:
The 1pmET hour of Beck’s 9/12 special drew 1.03M Total Viewers and 245K in A25-54 demo — up 5% in both categories from the previous Saturday. The 2pmET hour lost some viewers from the first hour averaging 887K Total Viewers and 224K A25-54 viewers, up about 3% in the demo and flat in Total Viewers from the week prior.
Their numbers are less than 1/2 of what you reported.
I’m curious how many people watch Bill Mahar on HBO? Since it’s a premium channel, do they announce viewership numbers or does Nielsen monitor???? The guy gets a lot of lip service but does anybody watch the show?
AW, I read my average viewer numbers right off the Nielsen spreadsheet. (but I don’t have adults 25-54 numbers)
Feel free to put a link to the report you got the numbers from in the comments.
^ I wouldn’t be suprised if that were true. I am suprised by the numbers posted for the 1-3pm special. If those are true those are amazing numbers.
Glenn Beck will air a tape showing A ACORN employee admiting murdering her husband and getting away with it. And she talks about the Politicians that know what ACORN is doing. DRIP DRIP DRIP! This stories got monster legs!!!! And the old Leftist media dosen’t even mention it. WOW!!! Your toast! Glenn Has a room for doing interviews with government workers who want to blow the whistle. Remember like the old days of covering peoples faces up and changing thier voices. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRRORIST All the same
Mr. Gorman, You’re right. A correction had been made to their report.

why is it that I always read in the comments of liberal news sites that Fox news is going to go bankrupt. How can that be if they have so many viewers? Am I missing something?
We had Fox news on all day. We live in DC and I would have loved to go to DC but I got some sort of a cold/virus on friday night and decided to skip it.
I was there in spirit though.
Not surprised by Foxes numbers. I love how Beck claimed there were 1.7 million people at the protest when at best there were about 600,000 to 800,000 that showed up at most. Though ABC reported there were only about to 60,000 to 70,000. Beck even tried to site a university that he couldn’t remember. They’re even using an old photo to make it look like they had more protesters. What a fucking idiot.

AW, we all make mistakes. Me more than most!
Why did my post show up twice?
