NBC’s ratings woes aren’t so bad that adding 7 hours of NFL programming to a 22 hour primetime lineup won’t fix them, as they easily steamrolled the competition across the board for the week of September 7-13, 2009. Too bad for NBC they only have 4 hours/week of the NFL during most of the fall.
With most of its new show premieres underway, the CW was the giant among the tiny networks, far above MyNetworkTV in the demos.
Note that the chart includes RATINGS not VIEWERSHIP as was typical in our weekly network ratings posts prior to July, 2009.

Each rating point is a percentage of the US TV population in that demographic group and equals: 2.90 million viewers, 1.32 million adults 18-49, 0.68 million adults 18-34 and 1.24 million adults 25-54.
