GG > OTH with women 18-34 by ~38% on Monday. In the CW’s eyes, Gossip Girl is doing better, but CW loves *both* of these shows. At least until Monday when they will both face more competition…

The ratings are down a massive amount from last season, but I guess they are meeting the demographic they want to meet. One Tree Hill’s ratings are not doing well though. Lowest season premier in six years! I predict the ratings to go even lower, because a lot of people are now not happy with the show and the departure of Lucas and Peyton.

why cant the CW cater to all people, give us a young police drama or something other than this “girly” stuff 24/7

The Game was the best show on the network, now its gone and supernatural and smallville will be gone in a season or 2

A key demographic of theirs is 18-34, so, why then keep everything G-rated? Still even in the 9 p.m. slot? This episode had no appeal, no sex factor, no flair, and above all, nothing about it was glamorous! It even was lacking in amazing fashion. What the hell happened?? All I have to say is that the season 3 premiere of Gossip Girl was one of the biggest disappointments I’ve ever seen in terms of a show returning. I hated it so much, I wanted to throw my TV out the damn window. Everything was rushed and felt way off. I felt like I was watching a completely different show. I will not be returning next week, or ever for that matter. Writers, you have failed. House, here I come!!

Actually, you’ll just have to wait one week. Both shows actually have competition next week, and lots of it.

“The GOSSIP GIRL faithful returned in force …”

What does this even mean? Is there one single show that has ever aired where the “faithful” did not return in “force”?

But with that being said, what other female-skewing competition was even on last night?? Would love to see the numbers in a few weeks.
