The Jay Leno Show quarter hour breakdown [9/15/09]

10:01-10:15
- 12.345 million viewers
- 7.8/13 HH
- 4.0/11 A18-49

10:15-10:30
- 11.485 million viewers
- 7.3/12 HH
- 3.6/10 A18-49

10:30-10:45
- 10.652 million viewers
- 7.0/12 HH
- 3.2/9 A18-49

10:45-11:00
- 9.943 million viewers
- 6.5/12 HH
- 2.9/8 A18-49

The the trend doesn't surprise me at all, and that 2.9 from 10:45p-11p with adults 18-49 is still very good.  All the same, we're still probably about 30 seconds away from seeing the first "Affiliates Brace for Worst as last 15 minutes of Leno is least-watched portion" stories....

Didn’t he have that fat progressive Obama-scumbag Michael Moore on. That would repel most people right there. Capitalism is Evil! (please, buy my dvds)

I just read that the use of name calling on websites devoted to TV ratings is inversely proportionate to penis size.

I’m nowhere near the right and I wanted to turn Moore off

so what you’re saying is, he lost a cool million when he said moore would be on, and another 800k when moore actually came on?

i actually have no interest in moore or anything he does, but jay seems like a fairly level head, even if he openly leans left on the show. jay saying the movie wasn’t trash has made me consider seeing it. though i don’t know if i can in good conscious pay for a movie whose premise is paying fair value for goods is wrong.

He only has to wait till more shows come on… the test will be next week!

Wow, some of you are great at spinning the numbers! Totally false, bu entertaining nevertheless.

Talk shows typically have the highest viewership for their monologues, then trail off as people go to bed. And some people just aren’t interested in interviews, period. I’m not. I’ll watch hot topics on The View or the open of Regis & Kelly, then flick away because the interviews are invariably the same thing over and over again. The only one who is worth watching for the interviews is Jon Stewart.

Yes, we too. I just don’t like him. He’s such a hateful guy who thinks that his opinion is the only correct one.

So far so good for Jay. NBC must be happy and Wednesday night was even better–ratings wise.
