I’m still waiting anxiously for Jay Leno’s second night ratings.
Univited guest was great, very funny and 10 @ 10 was also very good. Really thought last night was funnier than the night before!
Tonight Show with no desk. Will fail.
Yeah bob, that IS a problem – Leno needs a desk to sit behind.
Seriously. It looks stupid without one.
Jim Norton was pretty funny, but the 10 @ 10 was AWFUL!
Couldn’t have been as bad as Letterman. I waited for BBT’s Bob Parsons to come out past all sorts of tired schtick that hasn’t been funny for at least a decade, tired banter from whats-his-name the bandleader.
Ugh. I’ve said it before, but I’ve never meant it before: I’m never watching Letterman again!
A similar situation exists in music; Disco was “worn out” at a maximum of four years. But rap, in it’s 20th just hasn’t been long enough to play the one, long hateful song over and over. Some people just don’t get tired of things.
