SPN and VD perfect combo
Well, I’m kinda amazed; most of these vampire shows are a crazy-quilt of rules and a reason to take the hottest young talent and expose sex-n-violence with a scarlet motif.
Angel was slow to build, but built it’s audience with characters you could love, doing things for each other you could admire. And rarely was it about vampires; vampirism was the reason he could survive the sacrifices to his friend, not the reason he did each-and-every-scene.
I saw the first episode, as a Buffy/Angel fan. The actress was staggeringly beautiful, like a daughter of Cordelia. And the (good) vampire (I guess) was charismatic, like a son of Angel. Kinda odd, really.
Problem is, the good-guy vamp, bad-guy-vamp idea is a little worn by now…isn’t it?
I love Supernatural it has just gotten better and better. I also really liked Vampire Diaries, kind of like a Dawson’s Creek but with vampires, what more could you ask.
Supernatural will forever and always remain my favorite show. however, I was VERY disappointed with TVD. I loved the books and the cw totally disregarded them. They shouldn’t be allowed to use the name. They made into Gossip Girl with fangs, which isn’t what TVD is all about. I’m not goint to be watching TVD anymore.
Awesome news for Supernatural. I want my sixth season!
