Early TV Ratings: Emmy Awards Up From the Floor

The three-hour show was seen by 13.3 million viewers and drew a 4.2 preliminary rating among adults 18-49, which is 8% more viewers and an 11% higher rating than last year. That’s the most-watched Emmy telecast in three years.

That compares to a lowest ever 12.3 million average viewers for last years Emmy Awards. And while our friend James Hibberd notes that the 13.3 million is the most-watched in three years, it’s also the third lowest average viewership on record.
