Who would do something so crass?

If they can’t get it taken down then I hope either Betty White or Rue McClanahan (our last two Golden Girls) have the good graces to purchase it in her memory and give it the respect it deserves.

I wonder how the ebay seller got a hold of it.

Usually through an estate auction or the ungrateful heir who got that an a Golden girls T shirt from her will. Just saying…

    It belongs in a museum!

I hope Betty or Rue obtain it as well. Whoever inherited this Emmy should be ashamed of themselves for putting it up for auction.

It all depends on their economic situation. Tf they’re totally broke and it looks like they might lose their home, selling (Aunt Estelle’s/Mom’s/Grandma’s/good friend’s) Emmy would be very tempting.

It isnt something I would do BUT I feel that the Owner of this emmy has every right to sell it. The Emmy People probably wont be able to stop the sale.

So they don’t have the Oscar rule of forced sell back then – curious.

Whoppee! She was actress. Not like she won the Medal of Honor.
