Delivering TV’s Top 3 telecasts, fronted by “The Suite Life on Deck” and “Hannah Montana” originals, Disney Channel stood as TV’s No. 1 network on a Total Day basis for the 18th time in 19 weeks in Tweens 9-14 (461,000/1.9 rating). In Kids 6-11 (547,000/2.2 rating), the net owned TV’s Top 5 telecasts, ranking as TV’s No. 1 network for the 12th time in 13 weeks.

In Prime, Disney Channel’s reign as cable’s No. 1 network now stands at 4-1/2 years, posting its 234th consecutive victory in Kids 6-11 (1.1 million/4.3 rating) and 230th in Tweens 9-14 (906,000/3.7 rating).

  • Surging by impressive double-digit percentages over its last original (8/23/09), Sunday’s all-new “Hannah Montana” (7:30 – 8:00 p.m.) ranked as cable’s No. 1 scripted telecast in Total Viewers (5.1 million), TV’s No. 1 telecast in Tweens 9-14 (1.9 million/8.0 rating) and tied Friday’s original “The Suite Life on Deck” as TV’s No. 1 telecast in Kids 6-11 (2.1 million/8.4 rating).
  • Versus its last first-run on 8/23/09, “Hannah Montana” grew by impressive margins, increasing by 24% in Total Viewers (5.1 million vs. 4.1 million), by 40% in Kids 6-11 (2.1 million vs. 1.5 million) and by 12% in Tweens 9-14 (1.9 million vs. 1.7 million).
  • Hitting a 6-week high across key demos (since 8/7/09), Friday’s original “The Suite Life on Deck” (8:30 – 9:00 p.m.) tied Sunday’s “Hannah Montana” as the week’s No. 1 TV telecast in Kids 6-11 (2.1 million/8.4 rating), and was the week’s No. 1 telecast on all TV in Tweens 9-14 (1.9 million/7.8 rating).
  • “The Suite Life on Deck” delivered significant gains over its last original, increasing by 13% in Total Viewers (4.5 million vs. 4.0 million), by 17% in Kids 6-11 (2.1 million vs. 1.8 million) and by 19% in Tweens 9-14 (1.9 million vs. 1.6 million).
  • Friday’s back-to-back replays of “Phineas and Ferb” (9:00 – 9:30 p.m./9:30 – 10:00 p.m.) were TV’s Top 2 animated telecasts in Kids 6-11 (1.7 million/7.0 rating and 1.7 million/6.8 rating, respectively) and Tweens 9-14 (1.4 million/5.9 rating and 1.4 million/5.7 rating, respectively).
  • Playhouse Disney’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” stood as TV’s No. 4 program in Kids 2-5 (614,000/3.7 rating), with “Handy Manny” (No. 10 – 538,000/3.2 rating) ranking among the week’s Top 10 programs in the key preschool demo.
