  1. Just wanted to alert you that I put Leno’s A18-34 instead of his A18-49. It’s corrected at PIFeedback now. The A18-49 is 1.7/5. I must’ve just be so giddy at seeing a 1.4/4 that I didn’t even pay attention to what column it was in…

  2. TVBill

    Yeah, you did. ;-)

  3. Just wait until tomorrow, Travis. Or, well, I guess Monday is when you’ll see Leno’s final numbers for Friday. ;)

  4. corrected and just to be safe, I deleted your “whistle”, but I’ll put it back if you want it in there still!

So people turned off after the first 1/4 hour of Flash Forward and then others tuned in for the last 1/2 hour, what a weird trend.

  6. Sean, the last quarter hour probably has some early tune in for Grey’s. But with viewers that matter (18-49) no one tuned out after the first quarter hour. ;)

  7. Julia and TVBill, I am so very counting the days. I have a champagne bottle that can’t wait to be popped open.

  8. Sean G

I did spot that but even after the first half hour A18-49 jumped to a 4.1, and I can’t really see people tuning in 1/2 hour early to watch Grey’s. That’s why i thought it was weird…

  9. Christopher

Greys is back on its game

  10. Thanks, Robert! No, let’s wait for that whistle to really mean something before we bring it back out ;)

  11. I guess I will have to wait for Tuesday to see the actual 18-49 viewers to break the tie between Grey’s and House. But Grey’s did better than I thought it would (of course House did better than I thought it would too). An interesting first week so far!

  12. Christopher

abc has come back from the dead

  13. Dan

So Flashforward went down slightly then went up, a lot better than Ugly Betty.

  14. Sean G

It’ll definitely be interesting to see which net wins the week..

  15. Peter

BRUTAL ratings for NBC. Their plans to own Thursday night with sitcoms is falling apart. The SNL news spoof didn’t do very well, Parks and Rec bombed again. The Office seems to be slipping, and Community, which is actually a very promising show, got mediocre ratings as well.

Parks and Rec has got to be a major headache for NBC. They have a lot at stake with this show, they were counting on Poehler & Daniel’s to jump start their new sitcom lineup. Will they dare cancel this show in December? I can’t see it lasting much longer, it’s already half dead.

  16. Rich

NBC will keep P&R until it figures out another project with Amy Poehler–she’s the only reason the show was renewed this year. Aside from everything else, NBC has very little talent and can’t afford to squander what it has.

i forgot Fringe was on last night. Guess the premiere really did kill my desire to follow the series.

  18. forg

Oh so The Vampire Diaries matched the 1.7 demo of SNL (and Leno as well)!

  19. tony

NBC really needs to cancel all there thursday night comedies except for maybe the exception of the office. Those other shows are just doing horrible and Jeff Zucker needs to be fired since he took over the network it’s ratings have gone down so bad

This would be an awful move for consumers. Comcast has already been throttling customer bandwidth if they regularly view Hulu. They also have been removing MSNBC from the basic cable packages and moving MSNBC so that you can only view it on an upgraded package that includes the rental of a digital box for your tv.

If this goes through, I fear Comcast will put back the online streaming movement back five years into the stone-age–or worse. I could see the unions striking a lot more often with comcast in the mix.
