Reader Dave has whipped up another chart in response to a recent commenter's question. As it turns out, Glenn Beck had more average viewers than all his timeslot competition combined each day over the most recent week.

Quite a differnce from HLN where he got around 350K a night. I was so glad when he signed with FOX. Beck can get a little out there at times, but most of the time he’s right on. He’s a very brave and courageous individual. I admire him greatly.
Truth in advertising: I’m pretty sure this is the best evening match up for FOX. I just don’t have time to chart others. Just by eyeballing the numbers from last Thursday, it looks like O’Reilly and Van Susteren might also handily beat their combined competition, but by a lower margin.
The situation for Sean Hannity apears more tenuous … nearly a tie at first glance.
i think it’s morbid curiosity. Glenn Beck is an idiot and everyone knows it. They just want to see his next big blunder.

CNBC is fairly conservative.
Unfortunately johnthemon I don’t think that’s the case. I really think there are a lot of people tuning into his show and soaking in his every word like it’s gospel.
And they have a lower combined IQ.

However, they only make up about 15% of ‘the competition’ in this time slot. Taking them out would only make things a slightly better/worse depending on your point of view.

Too bad all of his advertisers have pulled out from his show, given that he’s an insane, abusive drug addict who will say anything to get an audience. An audience, that surveys show, know distressingly little about the world around them.
Sad how much people enjoy watching a grown man cry and have epileptic seizures on the air.
Moments like these are why I’m glad to be a Canadian.
Kind of sad when a ratings site starts to become a turf war about things other than ratings, shows, etc. I wonder if some of the above are actual readers of the site. It would surprise if they were.

Why would that surprise you? The majority of hits from this site come from actual readers, but they don’t post all the time. I check this a lot everyday and only post on stuff that interest me. Glen Beck is an idiot, but I don’t care about his ratings, so I don’t usually even view these topics. I was curious today though, lol.
A lot of the usernames are even posters that I’ve seen post on here before, so I’m not sure how you came to your conclusion.
