Looks like tune in in anticipation of the 10pm news boosted the viewer numbers a bit the last quarter hour. No matter how I look at those numbers -- even if I squint --- they make me wince!
Ok, now a minute by minute breakdown please!
Wow! 500,000 people flipped off the show in the first fifteen minutes ALONE…how sad is that.
That’s a 16.4% drop off from the first to second quarter hours. But, the demo barely edged down.

Well, the initial drop is to be expected – people watching an entirely incompatible TV show stay tuned in, find it’s not what they want to watch.
The middle part is stable, so I don’t think it really shed anyone who actually tuned in to watch the show.
The problem here is that nobody’s watching it to begin with, not that people want to watch it and find it isn’t very good.
I guess people got bored, or just switched to something else than.

SoCal, neither would happen. there will be shows, fans of shows, and ratings for those shows. Something would fill the vacuum you perceive would be created!

But the way the Chuck and Dollhouse fans support their show on here is astounding to me.
