CBS dominated Tuesday for the second straight week, winning every half hour in viewers and five of six in adults 18-49 paced by NCIS which soared to another record audience—21.37 million viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sept. 29.
NCIS won its time slot in households (12.9/21), viewers (21.37m), adults 25-54 (6.4/17) and adults 18-49 (4.8/14). This is a series high for NCIS in viewers and matches the all-time best adults 18-49 delivery.
At 9:00 PM, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (10.6/16), viewers (17.40m), adults 25-54 (5.6/13) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11). Compared to last week’s series premiere, NCIS: LOS ANGELES retained 93% of both its viewer and adults 18-49 deliveries.
At 10:00 PM, THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (9.1/16), viewers (13.69m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). Compared to last week’s series premiere, THE GOOD WIFE retained nearly all its viewers (from 13.71m) and improved its adult 18-49 rating by +3%.
For the night, CBS was first in households (10.9/18), viewers (17.49m), adults 25-54 (5.4/14) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). CBS won every half-hour in viewers and adults 25-54, five of six half-hours in adults 18-49. Compared to the same night last year, CBS was up +15% in viewers, +21% in adults 18-49 and +17% in adults 25-54.
