SYFY CONTINUES RATINGS SURGE AS
SETS NEW SERIES RECORDS FOR TOTAL VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49, ADULTS 25-54 AND HOUSEHOLD RATINGS
New York, NY - October 1 2009 – On the heels of its most successful third quarter in history since the July 7 brand evolution,Syfy shattered more records Wednesday, September 30, as established series marks in total viewers (2.3 million total viewers), Adults 18-49 (1.3 million), Adults 25-54 (1.3 million) and Household (1.8).
Airing at 10PM (ET/PT), saw its Adults 25-54 rise by 7% and Adults 18-49 grow by 6% versus last week’s performance.
At 9PM (ET/PT), was the #2 cable program for the day in both key demos, delivering a 2.9 million total viewers, 2.1 Household rating, 1.6 million Adults 18-49 and 1.7 million Adults 25-54.
Pace by the powerhouse 9-11PM (ET/PT) programming block, Syfy was #2 among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54.
