Friday’s first-ever one-hour episode of hit original series “The Suite Life on Deck” (8:00 – 9:00 p.m.) became the series’ most-watched telecast on record in Total Viewers (6.8 million), Kids 6-11 (3.2 million/13.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (2.8 million/11.6 rating), delivering Disney Channel’s best numbers in the hour with regular programming in the net’s history.
- “The Suite Life on Deck” was Friday’s No. 1 TV telecast in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and cable’s No. 1 telecast in Total Viewers. Additionally, “The Suite Life on Deck” ranked as TV’s No. 2 show at 8 o’clock in Total Viewers, and placed No. 5 among all TV overall for the entire day.
- Disney Channel delivered 9 of Friday’s Top 10 most-watched cable telecasts in Total Viewers, the Top 13 in Kids 6-11 and the Top 14 in Tweens 9-14.
- Friday’s “The Suite Life on Deck” at least doubled year-ago time period averages (10/3/08) in Total Viewers (106% - 6.8 million vs. 3.3 million), Kids 6-11 (100% - 3.2 million vs. 1.6 million) and Tweens 9-14 (115% - 2.8 million vs. 1.3 million).
