Reference to 3 Americans-Nobel Prize for High Tech Wonders.
There are Two Patents in my name (3,876,989 and 3,909,803) issued on April 8,1975 and September 30,1975 entitled: "CCD Optical Sensor Storage Device Having Continuous Light Exposure Compensation" and "Multi-Phase CCD Shift Register Optical Sensor with High Resolution". I received these patents while working at IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY and received a Pen & Pencil set for recognition. We had three engineers Bankowski, Kumar and Tartamella were named on the patent. I invented the concept of a camera not needing a mechanical shutter since the shifting of the data in a Charge Coupled Device Shift Register was faster than the integration time to set an image and consequently would not smear the picture. It worked.
