2.5 million? That’s actually pretty good for Cartoon Network.

I think the premiere for Season two would have been higher had it not aired opposite the Suite Life one hour episode. Still, that’s pretty good numbers. Also, nice to see Titan Maximum improve its ratings from the premiere in 18-34.

Yeah, that means if it were a movie release, it would have done, wow, $16 million at the box-office. That’s pretty lame for “Star Wars.” I love how they say they did double-digit gains vs. the same time period last year….since the same time period last year did NOT actually feature “Clone Wars.” They’re comparing it to another show!

It’s not even beating “Spongebob Squarepants.”

“Spongebob Squarepants” is trouncing “Star Wars,” for God’s sake.

The real story here is how fall “Star Wars” has fallen, and how Lucas will continue beating this horse until it’s dead, its remains have been absorbed into the ground, and there’s no hope of ever resurrecting it. So much for “Star Wars” being popular anymore. Now, 2.5 million kids watch it as a cartoon on a Friday night. That’s kind of sad.

Amazing how even with MNF on ESPN, Adult Swim can still rank number 1 with adults 18-34.

Also, to be fair Spongebob beats a lot of shows. Did Clone Wars beat out The Troop and Penguins of Madagascar on Friday night?

    5. Shem

this beat Dullhouse and Smallville, among other shows which aired on Friday.

    6. Adult Swim’s fame is well-deserved. Most channels have pretty much nothing to watch at night, but Adult Swim always provides people with entertaining programs. I thought Titan Maximum was pretty entertaining and I’m hoping that eventually the people in charge of Adult Swim will increase its air-time to half an hour.
