Please note that the #s for Monday Night Football are the total number both for the ESPN airings and the local markets where the games are syndicated to one of the local affiliates (a rule to ensure the markets playing the game can watch them, even if they don't have ESPN). As a result Monday Night Football will be at the top of the syndicated lists until football season is over. It's sort of bogus, but since I can't break the syndicated portion out, I'm just reporting it as Nielsen does, but you can figure most of the viewing is actually directly on ESPN.

For syndicated shows which air on multiple days, the viewership shown is the average of all telecasts.

BUENA VISTA items are syndicated packages of old Disney movies. For more information click here.

DAD = Disney ABC Domestic Television, SPT= Sony Pictures Television, 2/T=Twentieth Television, ESP = ESPN, CTD = CBS Television Distribution.

  1. Ron

Why is CSI:NY so high up compared to the other CSIs?

  2. We don’t get any information on how many stations each show airs on, or time slots. I could do the work to find out when they air in my area outside of specific cable deals (like CSI:Miami airing on A&E practically every day — these results aren’t counting those deals), but you could do that work too!

  3. VA

All the stations in my area stopped showing CSI:Miami when CSI:NY hit syndication. I don’t know why, but ALL of them stopped showing it.

  4. dumont

Robert, were the MyNetworkTV weekly numbers part of the syndicated report?

  5. How well does TMZ do?

  6. Dumont, no, and it wasn’t in the broadcast data we saw either. But last week it was in the broadcast data and this syndicated data is for the week before last. So I suspect that the syndicated data we will see next Tuesday for 9/28-10/4 will include MNT.

  7. Red Golem: I don’t know, but i’m sure if you click the link to the Broadcasting & Cable story mentioned at the very top of the post you will find what you seek.

  8. JR

“The Insider” is tracked separately from “Entertainment Tonight,” right? I only ask because the two shows pretty much cover the same items (as they are connected0, but it shows up nowhere in the top 25. Thanks. :) And “Jeopardy” weekend not ranking, either.

  9. I wish my local stations would air some CSIs. It’s always one of the 3 Law and Orders.
