NCIS won its time slot in households (12.6/20), viewers (20.70m), adults 25-54 (6.0/15) and adults 18-49 (4.3/12) for the third consecutive week. This was the second largest audience ever for NCIS. NCIS was Tuesday's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

is it me, or is the good wife slipping a bit?
still beats abc and nbc at 10
mark-allen, its not just you. The very smart guy that authored this post wrote “The Good Wife was down 9% in the 18-49 demo from last week to a 2.9 rating”
Wow — a 1 million increase in viewers in finals! NCIS is really kicking it.
I wish they would have kept the mentalist on tuesdays so it could get huge ratings
Melrose Place
- 1.598 million viewers
- 1.2/2 HH
- 0.9/2 A18-49
- 1.1/3 A18-34
- 1.6/4 W18-34
So, absolutely no improvement over last week.
Gee maybe NCIS will finally get some love from these know-nothing critics and awards-givers. It’s the best thing on network television, yet is constantly snubbed by the “critics.” They’d rather write about Mad Men or 30 Rock or some other program that NOBODY freakin’ watches!
@Bruce
NCIS is the only primetime network TV show that I am currently watching…as far as I am concerned, they are doing something right.
I am with you Sue. NCIS is the only network show. other than some sporting events, that I actually plan in advance to watch. I watch other network programs, but, I do not make sure other plans are changed to do so.
they best not cancel The Good Wife
it’s soooo good (pun intended)
It’s a bit weird that there are some who are worried with Good Wife’s numbers, it is still the landslide winner of its time slot with good numbers, so let’s not worry for the show’s fate…well at least not yet. I like that show so I hope it remains its solid ratings and hopefully average in the 3s in the demo
Tdot,
By now I’m sure you’ve read the good news. “The Good Wife” has been picked up for a full season (so has “NCIS: Los Angeles”).
I’m one happy camper that “NCIS” is doing so very well – I’ve always known what a great show it is and it’s nice to see that others have finally caught on.
It’s my only WILL NOT MISS show and has been for a several years now.
I’ve only caught on to NCIS since laid off the job but it has been my favorite ever since, sorry it took me so long to find you, NCIS.
NCIS is my number one fave show. And I am really glad that it is doing so well, keep it up NCIS and I am glad that more people are finally getting to know about NCIS.Yeah, and NCIS deserves to win an award.
@Greg – The smaller audience on Thursday is still worth way more to CBS than any increase it would get by moving it to Tuesday. Beyond that I don’t see why it matters. The Mentalist is in no danger of being cancelled. As long as it has the numbers to assure its continued existence I don’t see why you care how high its numbers are?
NCIS’ ratings are no surprise to me; NCIS fans have always been a loyal bunch! It has always been a top-notch show; with a cast you really care about. I plan my nights around Tuesday’s NCIS. Let’s hope that it’s finally nominated and WINS some awards this year!
I don’t get this sudden “discovery” of NCIS. I mean, its been such a solid show for YEARS. What woke other people up to it? It thoroughly deserves its top ratings and is, IMO, just as good as ever.
I still can’t believe that NCIS is #1, that is amazing.
