Novela Attracts An Average of One Million Viewers 2+ and Over Half a Million Adults 18-49



MIAMI, FL, OCTOBER 7, 2009 –TeleFutura, one of the largest Spanish-language networks in the U.S. and the ideal entertainment alternative for Hispanics across the nation, announced today that its new novela “Vecinos” (“Neighbors”; M-F 10:30pm ET/PT, 9:30pm Central) delivered impressive audience levels in its first week, helping the broadcaster solidify its position as the #2 Spanish-language network in the M-F 10-11pm time period. Off to a great start during the competitive early weeks of the broadcast season, “Vecinos” averaged one million Total Viewers 2+, nearly 700,000 Adults 18-49, nearly 400,000 Adults 18-34 and over 400,000 Persons 12-34. Moreover, this latest addition to TeleFutura’s primetime block, along with the hit novela “Yo Soy Betty, La Fea” (I Am Ugly Betty) attracted more viewers than Telemundo’s broadcast of “Los Victorinos” during the 10-11pm hour.
