I haven’t seen the full details for the full day’s coverage (not all of it was in primetime) for the first day of Major League Baseball playoffs on TBS, but from 8p-11p it averaged 7 million viewers and a 2.5/7.  That’s versus 1.6 million and an 0.6/2 last week for TBS.     I did not see details by market, but with Nielsen’s two biggest markets (New York and Los Angeles) involved in last night’s games (Yankees and Dodgers), ABC PR called it out as a significant competitive factor for ABC week-to-week.
