THEsoared to 108% year-to-year growth in The CW’s target demographic, women 18-34, with a 2.7/8, good for a first place tie in the time period against stellar competition. VAMPIRE also wooed more female teens than any other show on television last night with a 3.0/12, an absolutely batty 173% increase from the time period a year ago. The show also ranked first in its time period with total teens (2.1/8). Additionally TVD grew 27% year-to-year in adults 18-34 with a 1.9/6 and 69% in women 18-49 with a 2.2/6. The show also equaled its total viewer number from a week ago of 3.5M. VAMPIRE was also up 6% week-to-week in adults 18-34 and flat week-to-week in women 18-34.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES andcombined for another strong Thursday for The CW, with impressive year-to-year growth across all demos including 67% in women 18-34 (2.0/6), 46% in female teens (1.9/7), 14% in adults 18-34 (1.6/5) and 31% in women 18-49 (1.7/4).
