Baseball has been berry, berry good to TBS for the week of October 5-11, 2009. While the MLB LDS playoff round provided only 1 game over the minimum of 12, it was still enough to put TBS on top of primetime viewership, adults 18-49, and for the first time I can remember TBS topped Nickelodeon for the top total day average viewership.
Too bad for TBS that the 4 series were so short, or they would have gotten even more of a boost for the week of October 12-18. Still, there's no crying in baseball!

TNT not in the top 10 is shocking. This has to be one of the few times that has happened.
Is NKJR, Nick Jr.?
4 games is NOT a short series, especially when you have to stay up until 2:30 in the damn morning to watch the end of game 3. 4 games out of 5 is normal. It’s the other 3 sweeps that are a problem.
GO PHILLIES.
Jim, yes it is.
Playing 13 out of a possible 20 games is a problem. Having two unscheduled off days today and tomorrow is another problem. King of Queens reruns won’t keep TBS at the top.
Something tells me TBS will be lobbying baseball to expand the division series to best-of-seven. After all, once upon a time the league championship series were only best-of-five.
