Bravo Brings Halloween Home In October With
"13 Scarier Movie Moments" And Classic Horror Films
NEW YORK – October 14, 2009 – This Halloween season, Bravo continues to celebrate the best in horror moviemaking with its new special "13 Scarier Movie Moments," premiering October 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In the tradition of "100 Scariest Movie Moments" and "Even Scarier Movie Moments," Bravo has handpicked new shockers each more brutal, surprising and scary than the next, to highlight in this year's spooky countdown. The hour-long compilation features the talent behind the scares including Eli Roth ("Hostel II," "Inglorious Basterds"), Stephen Root ("No Country for Old Men" "True Blood"), and Megan Park ("Diary of the Dead," "Secret Life of an American Teenage"), to name a few.
For even more chills, Bravo will air some classic horror fare including "Hannibal" on October 16 at 11 p.m. ET/PT, and "Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth" on October 17 at 2 a.m. ET/PT. The entire series will repeat on Halloween night with "13 Scarier Movie Moments" October 31 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, "Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth" at 11 p.m. ET/PT, and "Hannibal" at 1 a.m. ET/PT.

Hellraiser III and Hannibal are considered “classic horror fare” now? Oh, the lols of press releases!
I loved Bravo’s TOP 100 Scariest Moments back from earlier in this decade as it was a good guide for horror movies that I didn’t know about.
Is there somewhere online I can see a list of the top 13? I missed some of the title of these movies, and I’d like to rent them.
13. The Strangers – when we see the guy appear behind Liv, the end “Because you were home…”
12. Cloverfield – the scene in the dark subway with the little clovers
11. Hard Candy – the castration scene
10. No Country For Old Men – the coin toss scene
9. Hostel: Part 2 – the girl hanging upside down bloodbath scene
8. Diary of the Dead – the scene in the hospital when the zombie comes out from behind the curtain and gets shot
7. Frailty – the end scene when the God’s Hand killer is revealed
6. Ginger Snaps – the scene when Ginger gets attacked by a werewolf and Ginger’s transformation throughout the movie, the scene when trying to give Ginger the antidote
5. Maniac – the “head being shot off with a shotgun” scene
4. Zodiac – the scene in the park with the two lovers being watched
3. Bug – the scene when Peter rips out his teeth
2. Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer – the scene when Henry and Otis are watching their tape
1. The Decent – the scene when the women first see the creatures
