Damn! I think Glenn Beck is on his way to pass O’Reilly soon. I like them both equally, but Beck now has alot of charisma, because he makes so much sense.

  2. Julian

^^You must mean undesidrable sarcasm and ridiculous stunts. I thought we were looking for news on FOX? Guess I was wrong.

  3. Julian

This is perfect example of how CNN brings in an audience when a big story breaks, be it as uneventful as this one.

  4. chrisandkeithsuck

God works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform. Go Glenn!

  5. Capt. Larsen

I have a feeling that Becks ratings are indicative to his morning radio show. He always leaves you hanging on a subject that he will address on his TV show, so folks (naturally) tune in.

I think it’s phenominal that he’s pulling in those numbers. He deserves it.

Oh, and Julian, go grab a mop and help your messiah.

Can somebody kick the ignorant bloggers outta there? The Glenn Beck program is an opinion show, not a news program. FNC, like other cable news channels, has both news and opinion programs.

  7. Gary

Funny thing is, Glenn Beck backs up everything he says, even has a phone to the White House so they can call if the disagree with him, no calls. Beck must be correct on his information.
Beck is getting close to the man, Bill O’Reilly in the numbers game, I like both equally, they really need to move Beck to Greta’s spot although I like her.

  8. shannon

wow…even with that balloon boy crisis, Glenn Beck stayed with his normal show — didn’t cover the balloon boy like Cavuto did — and still nailed CNN.

  9. chrisandkeithsuck

    chris and keith still suck!

  10. cindy

Don’t forget Maddow! Throw her into that mix!!………..lol

  11. bruce

Beck has 5 TIMES more viewers than Chris Matthews. How can MSNBC endure such indignities?

  12. bruce

A good prime time slot would net Beck more viewers than O’Reilly. I think we might be talking 4 million per night for Beck. How can Fox News resist moving Beck to prime time????

  13. Richard

In response to bruce, it may have to do with contracts. When they are up, you may see a realignment.

  14. Jeff

Reruns of wrestling should replace olbermann and maddow. More people would watch and it would be more believable than anything those two have on their shows.

  15. Esther

I wonder if Fox will eventually replace Hannity with Beck? I want to see O’Reilly followed by Beck! That would be 2 straight hours of great TV! Bring Beck to prime time!

  16. WOW, look at Beck! I was nervous with the “live breaking news” that CNN was showing at 5pm.

    GO BECK GO!!!

for an opnion show, he sure gets results….. NEA, Van Jones, ACORN on and on .. LMAO

  19. Blazermaniac

Realignment would be a great thing for PMSNBC. Paid Informercials should be run, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That would make more sense than the crap that’s on there now.

As a recent article on By the Numbers noted, Cable News viewing is down quite a bit from last year. Comparing Primetime Thursday, October 16, 2008 to Thursday October 15,2009,

    Fox News down 668,000 – 3,312,000 viewers to 2,614,000
    CNN down 1,168,000 – 2,016,000 viewers to 848,000
    MSNBC down 947,000 – 1,789,000 viewers to 842,000
    CNC down 62,000 – 246,000 viewers to 184,000
    HLN down 200,000 -807,000 viewers to 607,000

The only primetime time period that went up from last year was HLN at 9 PM
    2008 Glenn Beck 514,000 viewers
    2009 Joy Behar- 543,000 viewers
