ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE is funny to
I don’t find AoP funny. Or 2.5 Men. But I love HIMYM and think that TBBT is quite possibly the funniest show on anywhere in the world at the present time. Last night’s will go down as a classic, up there with The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis, The Maternal Capicitance, etc.
“WHEATON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” = awesome.
I agree – the Big Bang Theory is the funniest show on TV. Great to see that the ratings reflect that.
I don’t find 2.5 Men funny at all. Can’t wait until BBT surpasses Men in total viewers – I think the time is coming soon!
I like all 4 of CBS’s Monday comedies to a point, though 2.5 Men is getting a little old, and I’ve always thought How I Met Your Mother was wildly overrated by some (it’s decent, but not THAT great). Accidentally on Purpose is watchable because Jenna Elfman is wonderful, but the rest of it isn’t anything special, at least not yet (though the sister is pretty funny). Big Bang is by far the best of the lot.
I love HIMYM and TBBT. I don’t hate 2.5 Men, I find it funny at times and it has good banter and I like the character Berta haha. AoP is growing on me, it’s not as bad as thought it would be, I like it better than Gary Unmarried and Jenna Elfman and the lead guy has chemistry so its watchable. But RoE is more likable to me than AoP
Accidentally on Purpose is a funny little sitcom. Two and a Half Men is still a good show and Big Bang Theory is just concentrated awesomeness. I don’t like How I Met Your Mother though, its boring to me.
When do we find out that this is the post Super Bowl show ?
i watch HIMYM but it’s gotten kinda boring…
TBBT however just gets better and better
I do really hope CBS will put TBBT for the post Super Bowl slot, I want to see its ratings go that high
forg – CBS has a number of options (The Mentalist, NCIS, NCIS LA) The Big Bang Theory would seem smart though. Theory has one of the best retention rates of any post Men series.
Is this because of the messed up time in airing House?
I can’t stand 2.5 Men, feel HIMYM is mediocre, and haven’t watched AoP. However, TBBT is up there with Seinfeld for funniest show ever (in my opinion). Monday’s episode was incredible. I can’t wait until it passes 2.5 Men.
Is it a risk to move TBBT @ Wednesdays 8pm if they really want to establish another comedy block? I mean, TBBT has done a decent job opening Mondays despite competition from House and Dancing, right? Old cristine could take the Post 2.5 slot. and Moving TBBT will help gary.
I think this is the ultimate LOL Mondays for CBS:
HIMYM, AoP/RoE, 2.5 Men, Old Christine
LOL Wednesdays
TBBT, Gary Unmarried
2.5 Men was funny, but it’s now past it’s prime… The kid is now almost an adult and the show is running out of gas, even if it does provide some humor every so often.
BBT is the funniest sitcom on television right now in my opinion. This show with the ratings, age, and talent of the cast could easily push a decade. It reminds me alot of Night Court, Cheers, Roseanne (Hello, Johnny Galecki), and Family Matters as shows that went nearly or more than a decade.
