Please point out all of Glenn’s lies. IE. show me the lies. Don’t say Glenn said this or that, show them to me. Glenn always has FACTS to support his claims. When Glenn used Van Jones own words to prove he was a radical, the left claimed it was a smear job. Give me a break. Also, please show me the complete context of Glenn’s comments. If Glenn lies soo much, how come the white house is not refuting specific claims by Glenn. They can’t!!! Kind of hard to explain why Mao is the political philosopher you turn to most. And if you look at the context of that statement, it was NOT meant as a joke.

People are kidding themselves when they write on here or anywhere that Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, or anyone on MSNBC shouldn’t have a bias. People should watch what they agree with and what shares their views. I agree that it was wrong of some white house officials to single out fox, and it’s also unprofessional of Kieth Olbermann and Ms. Maddow to jump on every chance they get to criticize Fox. One aspect of Fox i can think of that I find good to point out is Glenn Beck. He lies every day on his show presumably cause he’s looking for a way to criticize Democrats and make them sound more radical then they are. Other than him, I’ve got no problem with Fox news and most people shouldn’t as if someone like Kieth Olbermann or countless others can have a show, I see no reason Sean Hannity can’t. As a progressive myself, iI do watch MSNBC, and that is why I watch MSNBC. I’d expect a conservative would watch Sean Hannity or Bill O’reilly. Don’t be unreasonable and say we don’t care what Keith Olbermann says, and on the other side, when Keith Olbermann criticizes Bill O’reilly or Rachel Maddow critisizes Sean Hannity as she’s done lately, don’t take either of them seriously. To end this reasonably long comment, I’ll say, Glenn Beck is the reason for the controversy in such uncontroversial information as this. He organised the 9/12 crap and started the practice of calling the president a fashist dictator who was going to kill 6 million jews, or abolish freedom of speech (That’d get rid of him, wouldn’t it?). Despite his repulsive imagination, the white house has no business telling him to shut up. After that long end to a long comment, i will say, the republicans need to pull their heads out of a place that they shouldn’t be so that the democrats don’t pass a crappy bill for health care, or even worse, Glenn Beck’s concentration camps or death panels (creepy font).

I belong to a union, I have 2 daughters in the air Force. I have 3 nephews currently in Iraq & Afganistan. 1 in the Army & 2 in the Marines. Kudos to Sharon. The Franken admendment is needed to protect people who work for contractors who abuse them. It will allow them to sue the contractors who fail to protect them from their own employees as is the case of the 20 year old who was raped by 7 Haliburton employees & then locked up in a cargo box for several days afterwards.
As for Faux News, As high as their ratings are, they still can’t persuade people to vote for republicans or their programs. The party of NO is just short for The Party of NOthing. I’m also glad to see that most of the Right wing nuts are all in the south . It’s easier to keep an eye on the troublemakers when they are all herded together in one corral.

Sharon’s aknowledgemnet of Hannity’s attempts to help the farmers in California was curious. I live in California and the problem is that Democrats and environmentalist/animal rights activists are creating the problem for the farmers by not allowing them enough water for their crops. The central valley is drying up. Obama is ignoring this because to solve the problem he’d have to go against the left wing radicals in California and that would piss off his base. So Sharon, how is it you admire Hannity for his efforts when it’s your own people creating the problem? You should be denouncing him and saying to hell with the farmers with your kndred spirits out here in California.

I was using the 300 million number because as I said in my previous comment, libs on this site use this generalized and apparantly incorrect stat to belittle Fox ratings.

I own a small consulting company and hasve been looking to increase revenue through advertising on our local Cable One Carrier. Interesting to find out that to advertise on Fox News at a fixed time is $30/30 seconds while MSNBC is $20/30 seconds. Say what you want but these numbers say it all.

I was merely trying to stress a point mainly.
From the info I saw, they didn’t specify whether they limited to local or not on the diaries. It left you with the impression it was the same for all.

MikeB, about 20,000 households have Nielsen People Meters.

A larger number does the diaries during sweeps periods, but those are only I believe used for local ratings, nothing we report on our site regularly.
