can ncis beat AI in viewers this winter? i hope so, that be awesome

Have never watch any of these shows. Never will. If CBS had not gotten medium I’d never watch that network. All the shows are the same just different titles.

As a new viewer to NCIS (in Season 7, no less) I wonder how two factors have added to their ratings: the availability of Season 6 online via Netflix and online sites over the summer and the repeats of Seasons 1-5 on USA Network. I find that latter especially interesting since I believe that USA is affiliated with NBC not CBS? Just some thoughts on why the show has suddenly become so big after six broadcast seasons…

I don’t watch NCIS but i really enjoy the Good Wife, glad to see it is keeping good viewership. Oh by the way I doubt NCIS will beat American Idol, AI is actually way higher rated unless for some reason this season there ratings just tumble.

I have watched NCIS since its inception, and their ratings domination is no surprise. It is a fantastic show (with an excetption to the climax of the 1st episode this season. Didn’t know Gibbs could teleport 1 mile in less than 5 seconds)… NCIS: LA on the other hand, is a decent show, but shouldn’t be getting anywhere close of the ratings as the original. It tries to be too “hip” and lacks the essential character-viewer connection that NCIS has perfected.

For someone who has never watched, never will – how do you know that they are all the same show – different title.
    Couldn’t be more wrong.
Sure NCIS: LA is a spin-off but both NCIS shows have their own unique flavor.
I’ve been watching NCIS since Ziva joined and have managed to catch almost all eps now with USA reruns. It’s a great show and I’m totally thrilled that the ratings are revealing what faithful viewers have known all along. Team Gibbs rocks!

Without a Trace was hands over better than The Good Wife. The GW premise won’t last nearly as long as WAT.

I love The Good Wife. Only show I watch on any network on Tuesday night and only drama I watch on CBS at all. Hope it stays.

We thought that was over-the-top also… in the attempt to always keep Gibbs as the hero…they went into super-hero overdrive on that scene!!!
