CBS won Tuesday in viewers and adults 25-54 for the fifth straight week and in adults 18-49 for the fourth time led by NCIS, the night's top program, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 20.

NCIS won its time slot in households (12.7/20), viewers (20.60m), adults 25-54 (6.4/16) and adults 18-49 (4.7/13) for the fifth consecutive week.  Compared to last week, NCIS was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 4.5/13) and even in adults 25-54.  Every episode of NCIS this season delivered more than 20 million viewers.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (10.2/16), viewers (16.51m) and adults 25-54 (5.5/13) – all for the fifth consecutive week – and second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10).  NCIS: LOS ANGELES was up +5% in households (from 9.7/15), +15% in adults 25-54 (from 4.8/11), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09) and added +1.13m viewers (from 15.38m, +7%) compared to last week.

THE Good Wife was first in households (8.6/15), viewers (12.90m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07) for the fifth consecutive week.  Compared to last week, THE Good Wife was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.8/10).

For the night, CBS was first in households (10.5/17), viewers (16.67m), adults 25-54 (5.3/13) for the fifth consecutive Tuesday and won adults 18-49 (3.8/10) for the fourth time in five weeks.  CBS won every half-hour in viewers and adults 25-54 also for the fifth consecutive week.
