BAM! BRAVO'S "Real Housewives of Atlanta” SEASON TWO MARKS AN 116% INCREASE AMONG TOTAL VIEWERS VERSUS SEASON ONE
Earns Top Spot As Highest Rated Series In The "Real Housewives” Franchise
NEW YORK – October 23, 2009 – Who gonna check me boo? Earning the top spot as the highest rated series in the "Real Housewives” franchise, Bravo's ratings juggernaut "The Real Housewives of Atlanta” ended its second season on a high note, scoring 2,047,000 adults 18-49 and 2,977,000 total viewers, up 22 percent (vs. 1,680,000), and 35 percent (vs. 2,212,000) respectively versus the season one finale, according to Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, during the 10PM hour, Bravo ranked number one among all cable networks in the coveted adult 18-49 demo and among women 18-49.
The explosive and oh-so-dramatic season two averaged 1,992,000 adults 18-49 and 2,836,000 total viewers, marking triple digit increases in all key demos versus season one, up 101 percent among adults 18-49 (1,992,000 vs. 990,000), and 116 percent among total viewers (2,836,000 vs. 1,312,000).
This week's episode of "Million Dollar Listing” earned 672,000 adults 18-49 and broke the one million mark with 1,026,000 total viewers, up 68 percent (vs. 401,000) and 72 percent (vs. 595,000) versus episode two of the prior season. Over the course of two weeks, the series has seen double digit increases across the board, up 35 percent among adults 18-49 and 37 percent among total viewers to-date versus season one. Additionally, season three of "Flipping Out” averaged 773,000 adults and 1,046,000 total viewers, up 16 percent (vs. 664,000) and 10 percent (1,046,000 vs. 949,000) respectively versus the season one average.

Hi my name Is Kim I leave in Hayneville Al I love watch Real HouseWives in ATL because they are real woman doing their own thing but my fav is Nee- Nee I’m just like her say what I mean and mean what I say But I think Kim and Shree are not your friend Nee-Nee tell them to Kiss you As———- and that all Ihave to say But I enjoy the show and I wish that I could see all of the real housewives in person.
Okay I agree with you that NeNe is lacking class but all of them really do. I mean to physically fight someone is so low low class. As far as a favorite I must say I continue to watch because of Kim and Kandi being on there. I am however finding that Dwight is growing on me, Lisa is boring and Bravo could take her off and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings.

All of the real housewives of Atlanta our low-class hookers – except for Kandy. She is the only one with any real talent. From what I’ve seen, the rest are riding on their husbands/ex-husbands/bfs/bfs with wives coat-tails and it is pathetic. Give me a show – I can actually sing, act, and I am a real good looking woman! And those clothing lines – are you kidding me??????? Ne-ne – what does she do? except shoot off her big fat mouth? Good Lord – please have mercy on all of us for watching these dumb biT#$es!!! Please let us value what is truly important in society – helping one another, our families, and doing good to one another.
I agree with you Laura….and have you seen the guy that does the reunion show? His name is Andy Cohen….OMG he is so gross with those huge teeth. Do any of these people have an education? Where does Bravo find these people?

well i don’t watch – and these women are either ghetto or too boring(lisa) – at least the network could recast – Kandi may be a keeper and Kim is low down but kinda funny
I live and am from Atlanta (40 years old) and NONE of these women represent my city (ATLANTA) except Kandi! If you are from ATL, more than likely, you know Kandi and she is the TRUE talent and a hell of a music producer! The rest of these women are only since as celebrities from an outside perspective! There is little or no substance in the show yet it’s pulling over 2 million viewers per week! I’m not mad a BRAVO…for them, it’s about paying the bills and winning ratings. I hope there’s a BETTER show that comes from ATLANTA other than Tyler Perry’s shows that the world can watch! This is show does not represent the RICH heritage that ATLANTA is known for AND is why everyone has decided to make it their home over the last 20 years. Yuck for representation but BRAVO for BRAVO. Even they need to make a buck in a recession! They have employees too! How about a recast?????
