ok is it me? if my eyes r not playing tricks on me – then Project runways #s are greater – WTF? it looks like the article is full of s#@!% – I think Bravo is paying off the ratings mafia – who in the hell would watch that crap on their network and the people who are r not buying the advertisers products

Well, I suggested a bare minimum 40% drop by episode 3, but they hit it by episode 2. Knew it was a dud.

Gotta say, though, hope Tosh.0 catches on. The Web Redemptions usually suck, but other than that it’s genuinely a good show.

I didn’t think the League was that bad. It had its moments. As for not holding the lead. I don’t watch Its Always, so I can’t say its surprising that they may have somewhat difference audiences. Also, isn’t it problematic that something centered on sports is premiering against actual sports? I think there was NBA in addition to a WS game. I was watching the game and DVRd a later airing of The League.

I’m glad Dunham is down. I was flabbergasted that he brought in 5+ million viewers. Isn’t his stuff targeted at children? I don’t know what adult could sit there watching cheesy humor involving puppets. I’d rather watch the Blue Collar Comedy Tour–and that’s saying something.

Tosh.0 isn’t great. But you know what? It never fails to make me laugh time and time again. There are times when Daniel Tosh’s attitude gets annoying; smug, arrogant, and cocky can only go so far. Then I remember he’s only cynical to get more laughs, I lighten up, and start again with the chuckles. A .6 for a show that costs almost nothing is good enough to stick around.

Even against the series game The League still did better than early seasons of MadMen and Dexter… Plus, that Sunny college demo doesn’t seem like an automatic fit right into dads and FF. Let’s see what +7 brings. BTW I didn’t see any ads anywhere except on FX.

Not surprised at all that the premiere of The League didn’t exactly set the world on fire since the commercials were terrible.

I watch all of the original programming on FX and didn’t even bother giving it a shot. FX should just stick with a classic Sunny after the new eps.

Looks like a clear case of male-skewing programming getting hit by the World Series, female-skewing programming not. We’ll have to see what happens to Dunham and The League when they’re not head to head with a NYC/Philly World Series. Then, we’ll know more.

The fact that Comedy Central runs the Jeff Dunham Show 23 times each week makes tuning in for the 9 pm show not much of a necessity. The guy was also the star of 30 Rock as he tore into Tina Fey

I was one of those who tuned into the Jeff Dunham premiere after seeing the promos on the Daily Show but only made it about half way through the show. It’s skewed to a niche audience who apparently find an old man dummy taking a dump funny.

My whole family loves Jeff Dunham and i don’t understand. I watched the first episode and it was awful…but low and behold, he sold out hte Honda Center in Anaheim in a few weeks (seats about 19,000!)

I don’t think the The League numbers are that bad (retention must be better than 30 Rock out of The Office) and it can’t be worse than Testees. Too bad FX killed Starved just after 7 episodes. I liked it even more than Sunny.

Adam, I’m the one that watches Dollhouse (I don’t think Bill does regularly, though I could be wrong) and I’m pretty sure Bill has NEVER watched Real Housewives. But, he is extremely enamored with saying “NeNe is da bomb” based on a bunch of comments (saying “Nene is da bomb!”) from a post last year.

I know the Jeff Dunham haters are probably jumping for joy today but I take a different spin. I can think of no greater tribute to Jeff Dunham’s talent than the fact that 48% of the people who saw that first episode decided to tune in again (I DVR’ed it but haven’t been able to bring myself to watch it yet).

Looks like Jeff Dunham, Sunny and The League were hit hard by Baseball while Runway and Real Housewives of Atlanta held up. Runway is a success for Lifetime but it’s not good to be in the demo by the much cheaper Real Housewives.

Sunny doesn’t seem to be a good lead in for any comedy on FX although to be a bit of a retentionista, The League did retained the majority of its lead in.

Man, all these shows would be up for cancellation if they aired on a broadcast network. Good thing cable is around.

As for The League, the episode is okay, but I don’t know how they would make a series out of fantasy football.
