Adult Swim launched the first week of Nov. ’09 ranking #1 among ad-supported cable networks for total day delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-24 and men 18-24. Despite major sporting event competition, Adults Swim programs accounted for 18 of the top 50 telecasts of the month on ad-supported basic cable among adults 18-34, more than any other network.
Among its programming highlights, three successive Sunday night presentation of all-new episodes of The Venture Bros. (12 a.m.) has averaged double-digit ratings and delivery increases among all young adult demos compared to the same time period last year. Across the three telecasts, average adults 18-34 delivery (675,000) has grown by 55% and ratings (1.0) by 67%; average adults 18-24 delivery (371,000) has grown by 39% and ratings (1.3) by 44%. Similarly, another first-run episode of the BBC version of The Office on Friday nights (12 a.m.) increased average adults 18-34 delivery (232,000) by 26%, adults 18-24 delivery (102,000) by 4%, and adults 18-49 delivery (342,000) by 40%.
