Sons-of-Anarachy-Season-2-Episode-9

Though with 3.39 million average viewers, last Tuesday's Sons Of Anarchy was not among the top 25 most-watched shows on cable last week, it was still the top scripted show with adults 18-49 where it ranked fourth.  It trailed only the Eagles vs. Redskins and both (split-apart for counting purposes) episodes of Monday Night Raw.

SOA was #9 overall last week with adults 18-34, trailing  Monday Night Football , the BET Hip Hop Awards, The Hills,  Clippers vs. Lakers, Raw a couple of repeat airings of Family Guy on Adult Swim and The Ultimate Fighter on Spike.  The Hills was the #3 show for the week with adults 18-34 and #25 with adults 18-49.

White Collar was the #1 scripted show in overall viewing, but in the advertising-centric adults 18-49 demographic it was 24th.

    Yes!!!

Kadooz to Mr. Sutter, cast and crew! :)

  2. Hot Pocket

Just simply the best show on all of television. I can’t believe how much its grown season to season. Awesome cast and chemistry.

  3. Fredrick

Really? I loved the early episodes and plot lines, but I think the writing is starting to run out of steam a bit. Having Tara, a professional and dedicated physician, abide all the crime and sleaze and even turn a bit “biker chick” herself in the name of “love” is getting a little hard to swallow. I also wonder if they plan on doing a flash back thread about Jax’s father?

  4. renew the dang show already

  5. So Cal

can’t wait to see tonight’s ep! Additionally, i saw on Sutter’s twitter account that episodes 10 and 13 (9 airs tonight) are 90 minutes!

  6. Samcro Fan

Hard hitting and action packed. The chemistry between the actors is growing better with each show.

The writing keeps you guessing between shots, the way good TV should.

One of the Best shows out there.

  7. Nicole

I LOVE THIS SHOW! I want it renewed for 22 episodes or whatever a full season is. My Girlfriends and I love this show and we are in the demo plus female! I love Katy Segal too! She rocks as Gemma!

  8. Jay

It’s obvious this show deserves to be renewed.

  9. I have to respond to Fredrick. You are forgetting Tara’s roots. She came from Charming. She’s got the biker chick tramp stamp at the small of her back. She fought hard to get away but I think it’s understandable that she’d slowly let it creep back into her life.

Lest we forget what this article is about SOA is the best show on television right now-bar none.

  10. Bonnie

No surprise!! It’s that Intense! And next week..90 minutes of “on the edge of your seat” drama. I’ll be there :)

  11. Maria

I love this show tons but the league stuff is weighing on me and I feel like I can’t really absorb anything else until the Gemma bit is really out in the open.

As for the person that said the Tara line is a stretch, you have no idea how many Dr’s and nurses lead double lives.

  12. Damn show. Every time I have a favorite character, another actor steps up and gives me chills. I can’t even bring myself to DVR it, so I have to watch commercials too. Thanks a lot Kurt for feeding the addiction for even longer next week.

  13. Happy that SOA is getting the recognition that is so deserving! It’s just as good if not better than the Sopranos and I was a die hard fan of that show.. the fact that there is just enough action and foreshadowing in each show to keep u wanting moe is what makes this a great show.. Kurt Sutter… i applaud u.. good shit!

  14. THAONLYDENMAN

Simply put, THE BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION!!!!!!!!!!!
