Here are my ideas for a FOX Daytime schedule targeting men 18-34:

9:00-10:00 AM – My Name Is Earl reruns
10:00-11:00 AM – America’s Funniest Home Videos reruns (syndicated by Disney-ABC Domestic Television)
11:00 AM-12:00 PM – Hole in the Wall (1 new, 1 repeat)
12:00-12:30 PM – Local news
12:30-1:00 PM – FOX Sports programming
1:00-2:00 PM – Talkshow with Spike Feresten
2:00-3:00 PM – Jerry Springer (syndicated by NBCU)
3:00-4:00 PM – Family Guy reruns

I actually been thinking about how FOX can have a sucessful Daytime.
9:00-11:00 AM Simulcast of America’s Newsroom on the Fox News Channel. This show is already produced and made and it would only compete with the last two hours of the Today Show.

11:00AM 5 Primetime Budget Dramas (these can be shows that have struggled on the traditional primetime since it would have little competition with only The View and the Price is Right as Competition) To cover all costs they can be shown 4 days a week in Primetime on My Network TV and on Fox on Friday becuase of the traditional lack of quality on FOX Friday. Giving Dual Revunue sources to these shows and telling NBC shove it the old business model does work.

11:00PM The best of the Fox News Channel. (The Day’s episode of Beck, Hannity, O’reilly etc….)

They would get either cable dollars or a second advertising profit to cover all costs and FOX can get in the game not only in Primetime but daytime as well. What do you guys think.

J.R, you see my friend, not everyone is from America, not everyone is talking English, there is a lot of ethnicity in the world, in case you didn’t notice.

Fox is up on pretty much every night this year. Sports may play a role, but their new line-up is still helping a lot.

Ok, lets be clear about something. Fox has had baseball for years, so the current success has very little to do with sports. They have had the NFL for years. Yes sports is up. But you have to give credit where credit is due. Fox is working hard to put better shows on and it is paying off. With the exception of Dollhouse/Fridays, Fox is just working hard to be more creative. A few years ago, they were all about over the top reality. Now they are turning that around.

ABC and CBS deserve a little more credit they haven’t had any important sports events, at least as much as important like wordl series on FOX or the NBC’s football
