abc's v

Final Update: fun while it lasted, but no longer free on Amazon or iTunes.  It should be available for free on both Hulu and ABC.com on Saturday.

Looks like it's an "All V, All The Time" day, but I know some folks missed it and there were comments about how to watch it.  Though last night's premiere of  V is not yet available on Hulu or ABC.com (where only the first 9.5 minutes are so are avaialble) and looks like it won't be until Saturday, the premiere is already streaming on Amazon.com, and for free.

Just click the link below.

Update (from comments - thanks Jason): it is indeed free on iTunes too.

Update 2: Posted around 3:20p PT on November 4:

AmazonVideo Sorry!! We have to take down our free V offer. Want it? Better grab it quick. bit.ly/1UYhDz #fb

  1. Cool :)

It’s also free in full on iTunes.

    Not free for us Britons!

  4. Eric (Ohio)

    Interesting…

There needs to be more free things out there.
I dont get how on my 360, I can download an episode of South Park for like 4$, or i can go to http://www.southparkstudios.com and watch it for free (with no commercials i think? or the only commercials are for south park things).

Itunes is the same. Why would I pay 5$ to skip watching 5 minutes worth of commercials from Hulu?

  5. Allen

Cell phones are even worse. AT&T will (or at least a few years ago) charge a few dollars for 5 minute clips of South Park. I guess it’s not surprising, considering they also expect you to pay 4 dollars for a ten second ringtone, when you can see the entire song on youtube for free.

  6. Thank you, Amazon (and iTunes!) — although the quality isn’t as good as on Hulu. My sister missed the pilot episode so now she has the chance to see it before next week’s new episdoe.

I enjoyed it, but it still has a long way to go to match the original. I posted my full review on my blog here:

    Enjoy

Eric(Ohio): iTunes does have free stuff every week. Earlier this fall a lot of the pilots of the new shows were on. Also other shows have random episodes for free. there’s also a couple free songs every week. Not everything is the greatest, but hey it’s free and every once in a while you find a gem.

Be glad it is not on Hulu…those are guys that aliens run in order to rule the world…SCARY!!! :-D

  9. Nightstar

Well, at least ABC posted a time it would be available — November 7 (Saturday) “complete with commentary”. FWIW :-)

ABC rocks!!!! Finally an instant hit for the network!

FlashForward’s performance has been average but V is just greattttttt!

  11. Chris

So. It’s no longer free. What’s up with that? iTunes and amazon are both charging $1.99 now!

  12. Connman

I pulled down the HD version from Amazon earlier and piped it through my son’s XBox. Just like watching an HD program on the DVR – with no commercial breaks. A perfect fix for a slip of the DVR Tuesday night. Thanks for the heads-up!

  13. hulu hore

    Hey,

What’s the deal? I only was able to watch about 2 minutes for free on amazon. Then they offered me the whole episode for 1.99. Any other free options besides waiting until tomorrow.
