VAMPIRE DIARIES Encore Delivers Largest Audience in the Time Period in 2 Months
November 5, 2009 (Burbank, CA) – Despite facing the final game of The World Series, The CW’s hit reality series AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL continued to build momentum, climbing to its highest rated telecast of the season among women 18-34 (2.9/8), adults 18-34 (1.9/6), women 18-49 (2.6/7), adults 18-49 (1.7/5) and total viewers (3.96mil), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.
AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL ranked second in the hour with women 18-34, adults 18-34 and women 18-49, behind only FOX. TOP MODEL matched NBC’s “Mercy” and ABC’s 8 o’clock comedies in adults 18-49.
Compared to last week, TOP MODEL grew 6% in adults 18-34, 7% in women 18-34, 6% in adults 18-49, 8% in women 18-49 and 13% in total viewers.
An encore of freshman smash THE VAMPIRE DIARIES scored the largest audience (1.43mil) and best adults 18-49 (0.7/2) in the 9-10:00p.m. time period in two months (since the two-hour premiere of Top Model on 9/9/09).
