I figured from the excerpt above that Janet is not in the plans – perhaps because she wasn’t in the Jackson Five – thus excluded from their idea of a “Jackson dynasty”. Even if you consider the stardom of Michael and Janet, or consider all of them legends, it’s still one generation. If there was a family connection to say, Mahalia Jackson, I’d warm up to the ‘Jackson dynasty’ concept. Another good title comes to mind “The Jacksons: a Legendary Family”.

I might watch it if they change the title to something like “The Jacksons: A Family Story”.
One outstanding artist from one generation. Dinasty??
