Too bad OLTL’s numbers don’t reflect how great that show is. I really hope it doesn’t get cancelled.

  2. michael

i am very mad atwt ratings should have been up last week that was a great show what is going on do anybody not like the writers of the show cause they will be cancel next year and it suck cause i love that show i dont know what they should do now they got to bring those ratings up it making me mad every friday seeing them at the bottom

  3. Ilse

I’m very dissapointed in ATWT ratings, I expected them to go way up that week. Maybe people don’t know about the great storylines that are coming.

  4. Bad Robot

As The Stomach Turns is the new Guiding Light. It will be the next to be decapitated.

  5. BF

This week (11/2 to 11/6) was likely a better week for ATWT since what’s her face is back!

  6. rob

There wasnt much going on with OLTL that week but this week, I expect big numbers for OLTL. Why the hell is AMC doing good? As far as I know the show is still crap!

  7. BF

Quit saying that ATWT is being cancelled. CBS has no plans to cancel it anytime soon. It’s ratings are no where near as bad as GL’s was for it’s last 2 years on the air. It is still watched by over 2,500,000 ppl. Does anyone know where I can find it’s DVR ratings bc I record it for my mom everyday?

  8. michael

my bad bf it just that i love atwt and they told them that they had a year to pull the ratings up it just i love the show i just wish that people would watch the show i hope next week is better cause it just not looking good right now

  9. JR

I used to watch AMC and OLTL, but hve not in a while now (I tuned in when Ghost Dixie was on).

I wasn’t aware that AMC’s ratings had juice up (it had been hovering at 2m viewers a week for a while).

  10. JR

Should add that I also watched GH in the past, too, but not as faithfully.

Remember when there were 10-12 daytime soaps? Soaps just haven’t been the same since the OJ trial.

  11. Colcorde

Too bad OLTL’s ratings don’t reflect the solid stories and characters. I think the ABC soaps are safe(r) since they are network-owned, but the threat always looms. AMC has improved (though not much in story quality) this past year. I’m actually looking forward to Zach and Kendall leaving since they have eclipsed our screens for ages! They are too good characters, but bad writers shoved them down our throats! Sadly, it does appear (according to soapcentral.com) that ATWT is destined for cancellation in April.

  12. Shem

Maybe some network should try a weekday soap in Primetime like they do in the United Kingdom.

  13. TimsDale4ever

I keep hoping for ATWT as I watch on-line maybe twice a week. Their numbers are perfectly believable as this show is still boring or tired. Maura’s return will not do anything for me, but maybe for other fans. This show needs some new characters — and God forbid — not more 18 year olds. Rosanna and Craig add nothing to the show; as do Jack and Carly, etc. That’s what I mean by tired. These characters have dominated the show for so long it’s become tired. Why can’t we have front burner stories for Kim and Bob, Barbara, Lucinda, Lisa, hell, even Nancy. No let’s “break up and put back together” Jack and Carly again. Does anyone see what I mean? This show needs to move on and freshen up. I love Holden and Lily, but their break up/get back together saga is tired also. One day……

  14. BF

Colcorde, where does it say on that website that the show is destined for cancellation in April? Please stop saying that…

  15. keith

Every week AMC is gaining viewers. I am gonna have to start tuning in again to see what ALL the fuss is about!

  16. joe

i love AMC and OLTL. I expect big #’s for OLTL this week. I think the problem is that not enough people know thae story lines thatare coming up in soaps and that’s why the ratings are not higher. I agree that maybe a network should try a primetime soap, would be interesting

  17. Shem

Maybe the CW can extend the Primetime programming by 1 hour and put a soap on, every night @ 8pm.

However, that would too many soaps one network, cuz most of their shows are soapy.

  18. BF

I emailed the ATWT fan club. They responded and said there are no plans of cancelling/moving the show anyimte soon.

  19. Ellie

ATWT has been better these past two weeks than the last 2 years!

They should’ve gained a lot of viewers!

  20. BF

Trust me, this past week was a score!
