@Christian: Their popularity as actors and Disney stars, maybe. A lot of their fanbase isn’t 100% comfortable with their Disney roost, but it is what it is…

They are still in high demand as live performers – where they have always been their strongest. You know…like real musicians.

Jonas is the lowest rated but to Disney channel, axing the series may be bad for Jonas brothers themselves. Also Jonas is single camera which may explain why its lower rated. Season 2 could be the end for Jonas so they can go back to focusing on their music. Hannah Montana is ending next season, Suite Life on Deck may finish after its current order is up (or after its finished airing all the episodes after being renewed). Wizards and Sonny also arent going anywhere for a while. Either way Disney Channel is stacked with comedy for the next 2 years.

It looks like all 5 of Disney Channel’s live action comedies are renewed through next year (Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life on Deck, Sonny With a Chance, and Jonas)
