I watched this b/c I love the original CSI…This is the first time I’ve seen the updated cast (in Miami)- and they’re just as boring as the old ones…the scenes with Dr Ray & the blonde from Miami – didn’t work…she is like an over-actor or fake – she wouldn’t fit in Vegas–

    I watch…
CSI Miami – once in a blue moon
CSI NY – once in a while (once a month at least)
    CSI (Original)— Every Week!

I’m guessing CBS is disappointed with the crossover result. A 10 percent bump for a highly promoted crossover event on their flagship franchise just isn’t that impressive seeing as how they only get to do this once in a blue moon, they must have been expecting bigger numbers. We’ll see how it effects thurday’s show, where CBS really needs the gains.

This was the first Miami episode i’ve watched in about a year and a half. The only reason I watched was because I watch NY regularly and Vegas occasionally and wanted to know the full story.
I remember why I stopped watching Miami. It’s not because of Caruso, his over the topness is pretty entertaining, but jeez, that one big new guy they have on who acts like a baffoon, not funny at all, just dumb.

Bruckheimer must like the guy, he’s basically the same character he played last season on The Eleventh Hour. Bring back Adam Rodriguez, and hurry!

Let me just say at the start, I have not watch the first episode of the CSI crossover trilogy. I normally record all my shows during the week and watch them on weekends when there is truly NOTHING on TV to watch. I want to start with CSI: Miami. I have watched this show since the beginning. It has always been a tongue in cheek kind of show. It was never intended to be a serious cop drama; more like a 2000′s version of Miami Vice to be honest. However, this season, I DO NOT like it. First of all, I agree with Kyle B…bring back Adam Rodriguez. The new characters are a HUGE waste. Eric Cibarian (LeAnn Rimes new boyfriend)…what is that about? He’s nothing but a pretty boy. He can’t act, which is a huge qualification to be on Miami obviously. All he has done so far is thrown out sarcastic (attempts at humorous) comments to the bad guys. David Caruso/Horatio Caine is his usual self…just do the circle steps while talking, put on the sunglasses and appear just at the right moment. The CSI people do all the work and he takes the credit. At least he did actual detective work on NYPD Blue. The environmentally sensitive episode a couple of weeks back…give me a break! Talk about being preached to. Finally, the new coroner and the new CSI…GET RID OF THEM! CSI: Miami needs to be put into a trunk, sealed shut and left to sink in the everglades. I think CSI: NY is the best of the 3 shows. They actually do CSI work on the show. CSI: NY has better writing, acting and directing than CSI: Miami. As for the original CSI:, you can’t complain about the show that started a franchise (too much). Yes, it deeply misses William Pedersen, but I think Laurence Fishborne has done a great job. Jorga Fox has been in almost every episode this season. Why is she a “special guest star”? Why not just include her in the regular cast listings? The one who needs to leave is Marg Helgenberger, or as I call her, Marg Needactinglessons.

The Trilogy was ok, could have been better.
They should played out the serial killer thing alittle more mysterious.
i was laughing when i saw Sucre from Prison Break, still in Miami.
CSI:NY looks like it’ll have more action episode.

Please bring back Adam Rodriguez!! The new guys have no chemistry with the remaining cast members. In last week’s episode ,instead of looking at the evidence at the water’s edge, Eric would have been suited up and ready to go,,, Eric Cibarian seems to be walking around doing nothing except taking his shirt off & the new guy seems to be comic relief and he’s not funny!! I loved CSI until all of the familar cast were written out ,,,Now I only watch NY & Miami & Both NCIS,,,
Both NCIS’s had awesome Episodes this week Full of suspense & fun to watch,, The way the Old CSI’s use to be espcially Miami, when we had Eric, Speedo, Alexx, Horatio & Calleigh.. With Speedo gone & Alexx in a recurring role we need at least 3 of the Original 5 character on the show .After this Season I see no reason to continue to watch since All of the things I loved about it aren’t there anymore,,,

Thursday and Friday nights, I watched the Miami and NY installments of the CSI trilogy. I agree with vsaint, not very exciting; definitely not suspenseful. Hopefully the CSI (Vegas) installment will be good. I had one MAJOR problem with the NY installment. That scene where Taylor and Langston are talking with the inmate in front of the war veterans memorial (didn’t know NY had one); it was SO obviously done strictly because the show would air on Veteran’s Day. The dialogue between the 2 was forced, again because of Veteran’s Day. Don’t get me wrong; I am not discounting the holiday nor honoring our war veterans…they truly deserve it. The scene itself was forced; just like the additional scenes filmed for the early episodes of the 2001-2002 season of NYPD Blue. Certain scenes were filmed after the terrorists attacks to seem up to date…didn’t work. This was a great idea for CBS, but the storyline wasn’t original; it was the same storyline used in the Hostel movies.
