This is directly via Hulu and there are no useful numbers in it other than perhaps the rankings themselves, but some of the information is interesting and the Naruto fans don't get much love around here so what the heck...

Since our launch in early 2008, Hulu has grown the video library to more than 230 content partners, 1,800 shows and more than 60,000 total video assets. Today, I’m happy to introduce you to “Hulu Movers & Shakers” to keep you up to date on the pulse of the most popular premium content on Hulu. Users have voted with their clicks this past week and below are some interesting trends on Hulu and across our partner sites.
Below is the Hulu Movers & Shakers list for the week of November 2nd through the 8th, highlighting the weekly performance of some of top videos and shows on Hulu. This week, Taylor Swift’s appearance on Saturday Night Live made a considerable impact in several categories in just a few short days including Most Popular Video and Most Popular Clip. Most noteworthy, Swift’s opening monologue and Digital Short helped to propel Saturday Night Live to the top of the Most Popular Show list. Additionally, Family Guy’s episode titled Spies Reminiscent of Us appeared on the Most Popular Video list for the third straight week, a first for the Hulu Movers & Shakers list.

A couple of noteworthy things to watch for this week that may make next week’s Movers & Shakers list include:
- Tuesday – Sesame Street’s 40 year anniversary collection of most memorable clips.
- Thursday – new episode of Glee, after a two week hiatus.

Haven’t watched Naruto in years, but its good to see not everyone is still watching it illegally. They’ve got a few other places to check it out, though (CrunchyRoll airs it, don’t they?).
Good old VIZ Media.
is it just me or that most of the shows mentioned here belong to or have something to do with NBC? I think NBC needs to be aware of this. Yes they are in first place but their shows are usually popular when it comes to dvd sales, syndication and internet viewing. Robert/Bill/Juila do you think that the fact that their shows arent favorable “live” any more?

kev0170, I don’t think NBC’s shows are substantially overrepresented. And remember that CBS is not a part of Hulu.
amm lemme continue the question. I wanted to know from either Robert/Bill or Juila or all of u if that the fact yes their shows are popular but people arent watching them “live” on the network itself, should it be a worrying sign for NBC?
Kev0170, without actual numbers, let alone numbers that equate to TV viewing (number of people the episode averaged for its whole duration) it’s not worth thinking about.
My guess is the reason you don’t see those numbers is because they are pretty small. But it seems to be the case that the shows being watched online more are shows that resonate with younger viewers. Even in the absence of big numbers yet (or any numbers at all for us), that’s a troubling thing for the networks, and I’m sure a big part of what is driving the networks to have the same ads air online and on TV (and be paid for them) is to capture more of the younger viewers in the ad sales.
ohh thats true but aside from hulu im a regular of this site and i cant help but notice that the top 5 spots or some of the top spots are normally held by younger skewing shows like the office in the 18-35 ratings system. So what im asking is that should NBC focus its energy on this demographic to improve its brand
