TBS

Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns and House of Payne returned with all new episodes last Wednesday and garnered big deliveries.

  • Back-to-back episodes of Meet the Browns at 10 and 10:30 p.m. averaged 2.8 million viewers and scored ad-supported cable’s top two sitcom telecasts for the week.  The episodes also averaged 1.5 million adults 18-49.
  • House of Payne at 9 and 9:30 p.m. was watched by 2.4 million viewers and 1.3 million adults 18-49.

truTV

The truTV original series Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel concluded its highly successful second season last Tuesday.  For the season as a whole, the show ranked among ad-supported cable’s Top 5 shows in the time period (Tuesdays 10-11 p.m.) in delivery of men 18-34 (238,000); men 18-49 (503,000); and men 25-54 (477,000).

  • Rehab delivered superb increases over the show’s first season, with adults 18-34 up 55%, adults 18-49 up 46%, adults 25-54 up 46%, men 18-34 up 44%, men 18-49 up 45% and men 25-54 up 37%.
  • The show also scored tremendous increases for the time period when compared to the same weeks last year, with adults 18-34 up 119%, adults 18-49 up 74%, adults 25-54 up 62%, men 18-34 up 129%, men 18-49 up 99% and men 25-54 up 86%.
  • Sparked by the Rehab finale, truTV yielded solid growth for the week in primetime, with adults 18-34 up 26%, adults 18-49 up 10%, men 18-34 up 18% and men 18-49 up 22%, compared to the same week last year.

TNT

Coming off back-to-back years of regular season and postseason growth, TNT continues to score with ratings for its TNT NBA Thursday doubleheader coverage, averaging 2.37 million viewers for six games, up 28% from last year (also through six games). The network’s NBA coverage is also enjoying a 33% increase in U.S. household ratings (1.6 vs. 1.2) and many important key demos including:

  • A18-34:  +28%   807,000 in 2009 vs. 630,000 in 2008
  • A18-49:  +23%   1,355,000 vs.  1,102,000
  • A25-54:  +26%   1,192,000 vs.  947,000
  • M18-34: +31 %   608,000  vs.  465,000
  • M18-49: +27 %   988,000 vs.  780,000
  • M25-54: +30%    861,000 vs.  663,000
