What a difference the Yankees being in the World Series and it going six games makes (plus actually having several games during the November sweeps period which began October 29):
| 18-49 rating/share | Nov 2009 | Vs. Nov 2008 |
| FOX | 4.3/12 | up 79% |
| ABC | 2.7/8 | down 18% |
| CBS | 2.7/8 | down 7% |
| NBC | 2.3/6 | down 23% |
| CW | 1.2/3 | up 20% |

The CW didn't have Jeter and Rivera, but it did have the benefit of not having poor performing Sunday nights dragging down its averages this year.

FOX..nearly two to one. Wow.
At long last, The CW is finally having a good Sweep. They’ve been roughly tied with UNIvision throughout the Sweep, and are now behind them by only a point, UNI with 1.3 and CW with 1.2. Also surprising is the little ION network, which is up 132% over last year with a 0.29 A18-49 average.
I’m also showing healthy year-over-year growth for the English- and Spanish-language broadcasters after 12 nights, with households up +5%, P2+ viewership up +6% and A18-49.
