I’ve gotta tell ya, I’ve never seen (active, real not faked-to-make-you-download) numbers on an episode of anything like I have the recent episode of Dexter (aired Sunday).

Right now, Monday afternoon, there are 24,306 seeders, and 53,351 peers. That’s around 75,000 people taking the time to download this episode, that I can see. This doesn’t count the seeds/leechers that have left, or peers yet to appear. (Those are stored with the torrent file, at the main host.

But wow!

I guess NBC’s dateline is doing better on Fridays then on saturdays, and its cheaper. FOX should consider moving Cops and AMW to fridays, but before people comment, they will never do that. And I know both series do well for Saturdays but FOX needs series to compete for fridays.

Notre Dame is losing its luster. I blamed the bad NBC ratings last month on pathetic Washington State and the as-expected blowout. Pittsburgh is a top-ten team and the margin was five points.

For the record, the Texas Tech-Oklahoma State final was 24-17.

Wow, a 0.5 for Mercy, that’s horrible. Even being a repeat, I think having the color bars and associated tone would draw more viewers than that show.

SVU repeat beats a 48 Hours Mystery – yeah, it’s cheaper, but you would think CBS needs a wee bit more at 10…

…and I’ll play a bit of retentionista today – AMW lost a bit of its repeat Cops lead in, about 250,000 total audience and a tenth point on the demo, and John Walsh had a good episode too…so FOX should repeat Dollhouse instead!

Charlie the Tuna was really miffed, and from what I saw (non-HDTV for me), he had every right to be – did anyone happen to see the “fumble” on HDTV?
