Are most other shows in reruns that week? Because if so, for me, that sounds like a good idea. I picked FF over VD but now with the slowness of FF, I have really considered switching back if I wasn’t so far behind. I think this is a good idea.

Uh, when the hell was Paul Wesley *ever* on “Mad Men”? It’s not at all listed on his IMDb or Wiki credits, although he looks familiar. But he is similar to Kurt, which I know for a fact he’s not. Anybody got a clue or was this a gigantic misidentification?

I don’t see what’s so unusual about it, either. Other networks take their most successful shows and use them as filler during what has usually been a down time for the nets-CBS does this all the time with NCIS, or the CSI’s, and even The Mentalist. The CW doesn’t have as many shows to choose from to start with, and VD is their biggest “hit,” so it definitely is a an attempt to showcase the brightest star in their little galaxy, so to speak.

I gave TVD a try and I’m glad I did. Its much better than I thought it would be, and its been quite entertaining. The WB used to do this batching/event type of thing. I think its agreat idea. I highly reccomend that people catch up.

@mark wood i do remember The WB doing that, but i never did watch UPN network before, well i take that back i did watch it when Buff the vampire slayer got cancelled and UPN picked it up for 2 seasons but that was the only time.

And VD is the CW’s first hit drama series so it makes sense theyd do this.

Ummm….

….since when does running a marathon for a particular show on a broadcast network make sense?

I can understand if this is a Cable net or a niche net, say SyFy, running a genre show DURING the Holidays (December 14-18th ain’t Christmas time just yet). But it’s a series of repeats, in essence. Are the rest of their shows doing that poorly?

Help me out here, guys. Is this stupidity of normal practice?
