Yes!!! The youngin’s love the Sons!

    Kudos–again–to Sutter, cast and crew!

  2. The Other Tony

Why hasn’t this show been picked up for season 3 yet?

  3. Tony, from Kurt Sutter’s blog:

(And yes, there will be a next season. Season three is a big renegotiating year. A lot of two-year contracts are up. FX is getting their financial ducks in a row. I have faith that they will announce the pick up before the end of this season.)

Great Robert. Thanks. I’m sorry if you have posted this before and I missed it. I know Kurt Sutter speaks his mind very often and was worried he might have stepped on someone at FX in the wrong way.

Very excited and hoping for an extended commitment by FX for this great show!

Last Night’s Show was fantastic. I wish It was on every night. Ron and Katey and the cast are awsome. How about an Emmy for the show and cast. Thanks Your Fan Kathy

SOA keeps getting better and better. This season is definitely better than last season which was great. Tuesdays are my favorite night of TV and Sons of Anarchy are a big reason why. Just wish they had more than 13 episodes per season.

  9. Mel

Last night’s episode was fabulous — the outlaw had mercy — loved it!

Good to see a quality show get great ratings. Not picking this show up for a 3rd, 4th and 5th season at this point would be ridiculous. If FX can keep Nip/Tuck running on empty for the past 2 or 3 seasons this should be a no brainer.

With the plummeting ratings on network television almost across the board, cable continues to churn out quality shows with dedicated fan bases in shorter seasons. If I was a show creator I would be pitching my product to FX, AMC, HBO, Showtime, USA, or SyFy where they get multiple weekly airings and a much better chance to get people chances to watch.

I love this show!!! I have not been addicted to any show since I was a kid, but SOA keeps me looking forward to Tuesday nights. Kudos to the Mr. Sutter and the cast. Great job, keep it up!!!

Another good slow, little slow on action but big on emotion.

I will bet with the success of this show that there is some big time negotiating going on with contracts.

Maybe that is why they announced that they are going to kill off a major character this season.

Agent: My character has done such a great job and deserves more $$$$$

SOA: You know that we are going to kill off a major character this season. How does your client want to die?

Great way to set up a negotiating tone!

My question is what happened to Darby and the nervous tick guy in the fire?

Finally, something with slightly more male appeal than female ( that’s a guess, obviously ) that isn’t mediocre corporate sports ( what’s the difference between the Yankees and Coco Cola?) or fake wrestling, or Jackass style humor ( in which I include every movire ever on Comedy Central except for A Mighty Wind.) I’ve said before I only got to see one episode, when I was in Sante Fe last Oct, but I knew immediately it was different. It’s about time true antiheroes – I mean antiheroes based on actual people and not a comic book) – were the subject of a dramatic series. Since the ” other side ” is always crowing about their stale old cheap ideas ( like Cougartown or the Profiler) being ” cutting edge,” its time for a show on cable which actually is cutting edge. And South Park for all its faults is still there among ‘em.

  15. Paley

Fantastic show, plus something my husband and I watch together.
Plus, Jax … oooh la la!

  16. Elvis

Great show, reminds me a lot of “The Sopranos”
