MELROSE PLACE CLIMBS TO BEST WOMEN DEMOS IN 6 WEEKS
MELROSE PLACE Improves By Double Digits Over Last Week
November 18, 2009 (Burbank, CA) – With Heather Locklear’s return, MELROSE PLACE delivered its best women 18-34 (1.6/4), women 18-49 (1.1/3) and total viewers (1.54mil) in 6 weeks (since Oct. 6), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009.
MELROSE PLACE improved over last week by 33% in women 18-34, 38% in adults 18-34 (1.1/3), 22% in women 18-49 and 20% in total viewers.
90210 was at or just above its season average in women 18-34 (2.3/6), adults 18-34 (1.5/5), women 18-49 (1.5/4), adults 18-49 (1.1/3) and viewers (2.1mil).
Percentages in press releases are the CW’s best friend…..
Too Litle way too late.
Focusing on a niche demo doesn’t make good sense.
As others have said, too little, too late.
Overhyped return that delivered little for results. This show will be quickly canceled and then maybe Ms Cassidy can join a better show while Locklear auditions for another poor TV movie
I could see Heather helping with HHs a bit (due to her in the original), but if they were strictly going for the 18-34 ladies, didn’t see her helping.
Ok…so the cw has had some minor setbacks. It was Heather’s firts show. Im pretty sure and im also hoping that the show will improve within the next few weeks and in turn will get a second season like its sisiter show..90210.
