That’s good, but considering the vast amount of hype I was expecting more.

  2. I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN……….I WAS EXPECTING A LOT MORE FROM THE PRESIDENT.

Probably a number of non-regular viewers tuned in and alot of regular Oprah viewers likely tuned out.

  4. Scratchy

Sad to see Palin cave in and go on Oprah helping that overrated talk show garner higher numbers. What people will do to sell their book

Hmmm…even Oprah needs help!!?? – highest ratings in 2 years?!? I guess the show’s not all that…

  6. K.H

Even though Oprah is down (daytime talk in general has been down), she still kills in the ratings.

BTW, an 8.7 seems like a huge number for daytime TV! Is it?

I stopped watching OPRAH 2 yrs ago. Decided not not to watch her even when she had Sarah Palin on because I knew Glenn Beck would be a much better use of my time. Sarah will be on Hannity and O’Reilly this week also.

  8. Annie

Higher viewing numbers than when Obama appeared on Oprah.

saw it, when oprah was asking her about the Levi situation, she tensed up you can tell she was lying.

I can’t believe people actually think Palin is important. Or maybe they tune in to see the possible train wreck?

  11. Nancy

I enjoyed the interview and thought Oprah was not only gracious, but impressed with Sarah Palin. For those of you that are so quick to condemn Mrs. Palin, I wish hundreds of facts checkers could probe into your background and come up with the most unfavorable things they could tweak to mislead the world about you to your friends, family and the world. I would be nice of haters would just form their opinions based on the truth and actually care about a person’s life work as opposed to tearing it down. Genorosity towards all men?

I also thought Oprah gave a fair and gracious interview. She is a true professional unlike katie cupcake.

Not even Palin could get me to watch oprah

I don’t like Oprah, but I agree with those who have said she was very gracious and did a fair interview. I also noticed that they seemed to get along well, and I agree with Nancy that I believe Sarah impressed her. There are a lot of Palin-haters out there, but I think this book tour will change many minds about her. They might not agree with her political views, which is fine, but I hope this “dehumanizing” of her will finally start to wind down, because it’s really embarrassing! I hope so, because I really like Sarah, and she deserves to be treated in a more fair (human) manner by the mainstream media.

I’m curious about this too. Anyone know? That would be like a ratings landslide if it was prime time.

  16. Palin and Limbaugh lead the Republican Party, and the left could not be happier about it.

  17. Manny R.

Most people enjoy seeing Sarah Palin on TV.
Sarah Palin will be the next President of USA.

Lol. I’m going to assume you’re joking. Outside of her crazy bush baby fans, no one is voting for Bible Spice.

  19. bruce

Palin didn’t need Oprah to sell her book. I’d have told the Obama-loving Oprah to shove it.

  20. Abe

Bible Spice FTW, Palin is a contender
