I don't know much about MMA, though I know a lot of MMA fans talk about how Kimbo Slice isn't one of the better MMA fighters around. But there's no denying he's not only a YouTube sensation but a Nielsen ratings beast. The last time he was on Spike when he fought Roy Nelson it set ratings records for the network. A return visit was never in doubt...
Via press release:

I was going to come here and blast you for not warning me of the spoiler, but apparently him fighting on the finale has nothing to do with how he is going to do on the remainder of the show.
I figured it meant he was going to replace Mitrione, but by the wording of the press release, that isn’t necessarily the case.
Didn’t Kimbo lose a fight so quickly that it made Tyson’s showing against Douglas look good? And the last time I saw Kimbo in an online antivirus ad, he got bested by a caterpillar.
